IRSAYEVA, Nuriya Iskhakovna (b.13.10.1942, Selo Kanbekovo of Miyakinsky Raion of the BASSR), Actress. People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1984), BASSR (1980) and the RT (1998), Merited Artist of the BASSR (1972). Laureate of the BASSR Award named after Salavat Yulayev (1987). Awarded the Order of Peoples Friendship (2017), Order of Salavat Yulayev (2013). Graduated from the Ufa School of Arts (1965) and USIA (1987). Since 1965, she worked as an actress at BSAT, simultaneously between 1987—95 as a Lecturer at USIA. I.’s skill is multifaceted. The actress’s talent is characterized by subtle lyricism, poetic sentiment, musicality, along with the dramatism, bright comedian features and acute nature of character. I. staged a number of plays. She acted in motion pictures Return of Feelings (Mosfilm Film Studio, 1979) and Two On the Bare Ground (Gorky Film Studio, 1989). She performed in variety shows.
