ISMAGILOV, Rafael Rishatovich (b.25.3.1951 in Derevnya Baigildino of Nurimanovsky Raion of the BASSR), Agronomist. Associate Member of the AS RB (1998), Dr.Sci (Agriculture) (1992), Full Professor (1993). Merited Worker of the Higher School of the RF (2010), Merited Master of Sciences of the RB (2000). Laureate of the RB State Award in field of Science and Technology (2013). After graduating from the BAI (1973), he worked as Head of the Nurimanovskaya Plant Protection Station. Since 1978 (with an interval) he works at BSAU; between 1998–99 – at the Bashkir Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture. Scientific studies are dedicated to the development of plant growing production technology for various targets of utilization. I. developed the technologies of the production of wheat and rye food grain, introduced into the agricultural production in the RB. Vatan and Salavat Yulaev varieties of spring wheat were bred under his supervision.
