ISHIMBAYSKY
ISHIMBAYSKY, a zoological wildlife reserve of area 58.5 thous. ha in the territory of Ishimbaysky Raion. It was organized to restore the populations of game animals (1971). Within the territory of I. there is Kalim-Uskan Rock and Salavat Yulayev Cave, Karaultau Mountain, Tash-Oy Cave and its surroundings, Kuk-Karauk Waterfall, stows Kyzyltash and Selterbi-urtatash, surroundings of the Kuluk River. Рolystichum braunii, included in The Red List of the RB, and Astragalus clercean us, Fritillaria ruthenica, included in The Red Lists of the RB and RF, grow here. The wildlife reserve is inhabited by northern bat, Pipistrellus nathusii, Natterer’s bat, garden dormouse, bittern, blindworm, smooth snake, etc, included in The Red List of the RB. Black stork, golden eagle, oystercatcher, eagle owl, Russian spirlin, freshwater sculpin, Hucho taimen, river trout, European grayling are included in The Red Lists of the RB and RF.
