KARAMYSHEV, Amir Batyrgareyevich [7.4.1893, Derevnya Makarovo of Sterlitamaksky Uyezd of Ufa Gub. (Ishimbaysky Raion of the RB) – 7.8.1918, Miass, buried in Orenburg], Member of the Bashkir National Movement. Participant of the First World War and the Civil War. Between 1914—17 in the Russian Army, since1918 in the Bashkir Army. In January 1918, together with G.S.Idelbayev and G.S.‑Ya.Magazov headed the formation of the 1st Bashkir Regiment in Selo Baymak of Burzyan‑Tangaurovsky Canton. After the liquidation of the detachment, he organized a guerrilla movement against the Bolsheviks. In April, the detachment of K. and Cossacks released the members of the Bashkir Government, who had been arrested in Orenburg. In June, under the leadership of K., in Verkhneuralsky Uyezd, there were formed the 5th Rifle and the 1st Cavalry regiments of the Bashkir troops. Since July, Commander of the 1st Bashkir Cavalry Regiment and Commander of the Bashkir forces of the Verkhneuralsk Front. He headed the military actions of the Bashkir military units against the V.K.Blucher Red Guards troops.
