KARATASH

KARATASH (in translation from Bashkir — black stone), mountain, a natural monument (1997). Located 6 km SE of Derevnya Burangulovo of Abzelilovsky Raion. Abs. alt. — 1,118 m, length — approx. 4 km, width — approx. 1 km. It has 2 peaks with stone towns (height up to 10 m), separated by a saddle. Dianthus acicularis, Scorzonera glabra, Potentilla arenosa, Minuartia helmii, etc, included in The Red List of the RB.
