KILMAMATOV, Ramil Ismagilovich (b.10.9.1949, Selo Verkhniye Kargaly of Blagovarsky Raion of the BASSR), Photo Artist. People’s Artist of the RB (2017), Merited Cultural Worker of the RF (2007), the BASSR (1990). Laureate of the State RB Award named after Salavat Yulayev (2010). Graduated from Moscow Institute of Culture (1987). Since 1976, he worked as the department manager of Film and Photo Club Agidel; since 1992 — Chairman of the Union of Photo Artists of the RB; since 2004 — Chairman of the Bashkir Branch of the Union of Photo Artists of the Russian Federation. He works mainly in the genres of landscape (Iremel, Morning of Inzer), portrait (Doctor Aznabayev, People’s President, Nenei, etc). Initiator and organizer of the annual Republican exhibition Nature. Man. Culture (since 1990). His works are at the National Museum, at the museums, galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad. Laureate of the Russian and Republican festivals, photo contests, etc.
