KINDERLINSKAYA-LEDNYOVA-OKTYABRSKAYA CAVE SYSTEM
KINDERLINSKAYA-LEDNYOVA-OKTYABRSKAYA CAVE SYSTEM, the longest speleological system in the South Urals, a natural monument (2011). It is a geological section with a variety of calcite formations, it includes an underground glacier with a multi‑layered structure. Pleistocene‑holocene sediments were found with the remains of fauna. It is the refuge of the pond bat, long‑eared bat, Pipistrellus nathusii, Eptesicus nilssonii, included in The Red List of the RB. Kinderlinskaya is the 2nd longest, it is a 4‑tier system of inclined, horizontal galleries and passages. At the entrance there is a glacier with stalagmites (Snow Queen, Pagoda). There are following halls: Lyustrovyi, Concert, Pepsi‑Cola, Atlantis, Figures, Chocolate, Green Lakes, Kaminny, and Kashchey Kingdom. The entrance to Oktyabrskaya is a collapsing funnel, dropping into the mine (83 m deep). Also, there are the following halls: Brown, Cross, White, and Shokoladka Ponor. Lednyova begins with a well (20 m deep).
