KINZIKEYEV, Akhtyam Rakhmatullovich (1.1.1922, Derevnya Buzdyak of Belebeyevsky Uyezd of Ufa Gub., now Selo Stary Buzdyak of Buzdyaksky Raion of the RB, — 18.1.2017, Ufa), Mining Geological Engineer. Associate Member of the AS RB (1991), Dr. Sci. (Geology and Mineralogy) (1966), Full Professor (1969). Merited Master of Sciences of the BASSR (1982), Excellent Worker of Education of the RB (2004). Awarded with the 1st Class Order of the Patriotic War (1985) and the 2nd Class Order of the Red Star (1944). Participant in the Great Patriotic War. Graduated from the Moscow Gubkin’ Oil Institute (1951). Between 1955—57 he worked at the UPI, between 1973—2014 — at the BSU. Scientific research is associated with the study of Paleozoic carbonate reservoirs. K. developed the comprehensive rhythm‑stratigraphic method of analyzing carbonate masses in the wells.
