KOZLOV, Alexander Fedorovich
KOZLOV, Alexander Fedorovich (24.4.1922, Selo Brovnichi, the Far Eastern Republic — 26.11.2004, Ufa), Architect. Merited Architect of the RSFSR (1969). Awarded with the 1st Class Order of the Patriotic War (1985), the Order of the Banner of Red Labour (1974), Order of the Red Star (1968), Order of the Badge of Honour (1966). Participant in the Great Patriotic War. After graduating from Novosibirsk Engineering and Building Institute (1947) worked in the Institute of Bashkirgrazhdanproekt (1965—1984, Director). He developed projects of residential and public buildings, including the main building of Bashneft (1946, Ufa), the S.M.Kirov Palace of Culture (1961) and the children’s TB sanatorium (1973; both in the town of Ishimbay; all in cooperation with other architects). Between the 1940—60s, he participated in the design of the general plans of cities and villages and other population centers of the republic.
