KRAVCHUK, Igor Alexandrovich

KRAVCHUK, Igor Alexandrovich (b.13.9.1966 in Ufa), Athlete. Merited Sports Master (ice hockey) of the USSR (1988). Awarded with the Order of Honour (2011). A trainee of the Salavat Yulayev Specialist Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve (Coach – V.I.Vorobyov). He played in the Salavat Yulayev team (from 1983), the Central Sports Club of the Army (from 1987), the National Hockey League clubs (Canada, 1992–2003).  Champion  (1988,  1992), Silver (1998) and Bronze (2002) Olympic Medalist. The World Champion (1990) and European Champion (1991), the European Champion Cup Winner (1987–88), Bronze Medalist of the World Championship (1991), Winner of Izvestia Newspaper International Tournaments (1988–90). The World Champion (1986) among the youth and the Europe Champion (1984) among juniors. Member of the National Team (1984–2002).
