KRASNY PROLETARY

KRASNY PROLETARY, AO (Sterlitamak). Manufactures (more than 25 types) and performs the overhaul repair of oilfield, drilling and geologic exploration equipment for oil production and transportation, maintenance of oil fields. Founded in 1941 as K.p. Plant in place of the namesake plant, evacuated from Baku; in November 1941, the first sets of ammunition were manufactured; in 1942, the workshop for repair of engines for drilling rigs was established in the company; since 1945, the fabrication of oilfield equipment was launched. Awarded with the International Public Order for Contribution to Victory (2006).
