KUDASHEV, Khusain Ilda(e)rkhanovich (10.5.1913, Derevnya Buzdyakovo of Belebeyevsky Uyezd of Ufa Gub., now Selo Stary Buzdyak of Buzdyaksky Raion of the RB, — 13.11.1986, Damascus, buried in Ufa), Actor. People’s Artist of the RSFSR (1983) and BASSR (1969), Merited Artist of the RSFSR (1973) and BASSR (1954). Awarded with the Order of the Badge of Honour (1955). After graduating from the Bashk. Studio at Moscow Conservatory (1941), he worked as a singer at Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre; between 1948—86 — an actor at BSAT. He was an actor of great dramatic talent, bright temperament, high stage culture. He possessed a rich, resounding voice. He played over 200 diverse roles at the Bashkir Drama Theatre. K.’s most prominent artistic work was the image of King Yagafar in drama Red Pasha by N.Asanbayev. On the stage of the Opera and Ballet Theatre he performed parts in the operas by G.Bizet, M.M.Valeyev, N.K.Chemberdzhi, etc. He appeared in motion pictures Volga‑Volga (1937), Horseman on a Golden Horse (1980; both — by Mosfilm Film Studio).
