KUDASHEVA, Farida Yagudovna [15.12. 1920, Derevnya Klyashevo of Ufimsky Uyezd of Ufa Gub. (Chishminsky Raion of the RB) — 9.10.2010, Ufa], Singer. People’s Artist of the BASSR (1968) and RT (1990), Merited Artist of the RSFSR (1972) and BASSR (1956). Awarded with the Order Peoples’ Friendship (1991). After graduating from the Bashk. Theatre Art School (1939) until 1941, she worked as an actress at the Dyurtyuli kolkhoz‑sovkhoz theater, between 1944—47 — at BSAT. Between 1941—44, 1956—78 — a Soloist at the Bashk. Philharmonia, between 1948—56 — at the Department of Radio Information of the Ministry of Culture of BASSR. She possessed a unique and peculiar voice of soft timbre. She was very popular in and out the Republic. In her repertoire there are Bashkir and Tatar folk songs, vocal works by H.F.Akhmetov, B.M.Gaisin, Z.G.Ismagilov, T.Sh.Karimov, R.A.Murtazin, etc.
