KUZEYEV, Rustem Gumerovich [5.1.1923, Selo Aminevo of Ufimsky Canton of the BASSR (Chishminsky Raion of the RB) — 23.3.1998, Ufa], Historian. Merited Acad. of the AS RB (1995). Dr. of Historical Sciences (1972), Full Professor (1973). Merited Master of Sciences of the BASSR (1973). Awarded with the 1st Class Order of Patriotic War (1943, 1985), Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1978). Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Brother of Rail G.Kuzeyev. Graduated from the K.A.Timiryazev Bashkir Pedagogical Institute (1949), Academy of Social Sciences under the CPSU Central Committee (1962). Since 1949, he worked in Kyzyl Tan newspaper, between 1951—55 – at the Institute of History, Language and Literature, since 1962 – at the BSU; since 1971 – at the BSPI (until 1983 as Rector). Scientific research is devoted to the formation and development of the working class in Bashkortostan, the problems of pedagogics and teaching technologies applied in universities.
