KUKLEVA, Galina Alekseyevna (b.21.11.1972 in Ishimbay), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (biathlon) of Russia (1998). Awarded with the Order of Honour (1998), the 2nd Class Medal of Order for Merits to the Fatherland (2003). A trainee of the Specialist Children and Youth Sports Biathlon School of the Olympic Reserve (Ufa, Coach – V.V.Novozhilov). Champion of the Olympic Sprint Games (1998); Silver (1998) and Bronze (2002) Medalist of the Olympic Games, the World (2000–01, 2003) and Europe Champion (1996), the Silver (1999) and Bronze (1997) World Championships Medalist in relay; Silver Medalist of the World Championship (2000) in mass‑start, Bronze Medalist of the European Championship (1996) in sprint. The World Champion (1990) for juniors. Member of the Russian National Team (1993–2003).
