LATYPOV, Ural Ramdrakovich (b.28.2. 1951 in Derevnya Katayevo of Bakalinsky Raion of the BASSR), Statesman. Dr. of Laws (1993), Full Professor (1994). Colonel (1991). Awarded with the Order of Peoples’ Friendship (Republic of Belarus, 2005). Graduated from the Kazan University (1973) and Higher Courses of the State Security Committee of the USSR (Minsk, 1974). Since 1989, he worked in Minsk: at the Higher Courses of the State Security Committee of the USSR; since 1992, in the Institute of National Security of the Republic of Belarus; since 1994, in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus: Assistant President on Foreign Policy Issues; since 1998, Deputy Prime Minister–Minister of Foreign Affairs; since 2000, State Secretary of the Security Council–Assistant President on National Security; since 2001, Chief of Administration. Since 2006, Chairmanof the advisory board of the LUKOILBelarus branch. Since 2009, Gen. Dir. at OOO Direct Management (Moscow). Since 2014, Independent Dir. of the Supervisory Board of ZAO Alfa-Bank (Minsk). Scientific research is dedicated to the problems of international law.
