TIMBER INDUSTRY

TIMBER INDUSTRY, a branch of industry, associated with harvesting and primary processing of timber. Logging is mainly performed in Beloretsky, Gafuriysky, Zilairsky, Karaidelsky and Nurimanovsky raions of the RB. The largest industry enterprises: Selena Timber Company (Beloretsky Raion), autonomous institutions Gafuriysky Forestry, Burayevsky Les, Ufimsky Forestry, Bashkirskaya Drevesina Timber Company (Duvansky Raion). The full processing of wood is performed by the enterprises of woodworking industry.
