MAVLYUTOV, Midhat Rakhmatullich (16.2.1928, Derevnya Shlanlykul of Belebeyev Canton, RB – 8.12.2000, Ufa), Mining Engineer. Associate Member of the AS RB (1995), Dr. of Engineering (1973), Full Professor (1974). Merited Scientist and Engineer of the RSFSR (1988), Merited Oil Worker of BASSR (1973), Expert of the Oil Industry (1978), Expert of the Ministry of Gas Industry (1988), Merited Oil Worker of the USSR (1978). Laureate of the RF Government Award in the field of Science and Engineering (2000) and I.M. Gubkin Award (1973, 1980). Awarded with the Order of the Badge of Honour (1976). Brother of R.R.Mavlyutov. Graduated from the UPI (1950), since 1951 worked there: in 1959–62 as the Dean of the mining & oil faculty, in 1965–70 as Vice‑Rector for research, in 1989–91 as Dir. of the design and engineering bureau Azimuth. His research activity is dedicated to oil field development issues.
