MIKHALYOV, Sergey Mikhaylovich (5.10.1947, Posyolok Shershni of Chelyabinsk Obl. –21.4.2015, 1599th km of the Moscow–Chelyabinsk Highway, buried in Tolyatti), Coach. Merited Coach of the RSFSR (1987), Master of Sports (ice hockey) of the USSR (1974), Merited Physical Culture Professional of the RB (2007). Awarded with the 2nd Class Medal of the Order for Merits to the Fatherland (1996), Order for Merits to the Republic of Bashkortostan (2008). Graduated from the BAI (1974), Higher School of Coaches of the Central Institute of Physical Culture (Moscow, 1979). Between 1987–90, 2005–09 and in 2011, Head Coach of the Salavat Yulayev team, simultaneously, Coach of the Student National Team of the USSR (1989, 1991), Head Coach of Youth (2000) and Junior (2005–06) National Teams of Russia. Headed by M., Salavat Yulayev team became the Champion of Russia (2008).
