MUSEUM OF GEOLOGY AND FIELD MINERAL RESOURCES OF THE RB. Located in Ufa. Founded in 1934 as Geological Museum under the Bashkir Exploration Trust. Since 2003 – the current name. There are more than 5.5 thous. exposition units in the museum. The exposition consists of 3 rooms, where there are collections of rocks and minerals divided in the following sections: Regional Geology, Minerals, Gemstones and Minerals. Also, there is a lecture hall. The museum hosts various conferences and seminars.
