MURZABULATOV, Suleyman Shangareyevich [15.4.1890, Derevnya Abzanovo of Orsky Uyezd of Orenburg Gub. (Zianchurinsky Raion of the RB) – 9.1.1931, Moscow], Member of the Bashkir National Movement. Member of the RCP(b) since 1918, according to other data, since 1921. Participant of the First World War and the Civil War. Served in the Russian Army between 1913–17, in the Red Army – between 1918–19. Since 1919, Plenipotentiary of Chairman of the Bashkortostan Emergency Commission. In April 1920, started the communist party job in the Tamyan‑Kataisky canton. Protesting against the Russian Central Executive Committee and the RSFSR Council of People’s Commissars Decree On the State System of the Autonomous Soviet Bashkir Republic, he resigned along with other members of Bashrevkom. One of the leaders of the Burzyan‑Tangaurovsky Uprising of 1920. Since December Assistant of the People’s Commissar for Military Affairs of the ASBR. Since 1921 People’s Commissar of Agriculture of the BASSR. Member of the Bashkir Central Executive Committee. In 1923, on false charges of ‘sultangaliyevshchina’ and nationalism expelled from the Republic, lived in Moscow. Since 1926, he worked in Zilairsky Canton. In 1930, he was purged. Rehabilitated in 1988.
