MURZIN, Dayan Bayanovich [20.12.1921, Derevnya Starye Balykly of Belebeyevsky Uyezd of Ufa Gub. (Bakalinsky Raion of the RB) — 9.2.2012, Ufa], Statesman. Merited Lawyer of the RSFSR (1972). Awarded with the Order of the Red Flag (1942), the 1st (1985) and 2nd (1955) Class Order of the Patriotic War, Order of the Red Star (1943), and foreign orders. Participant of the Great Patriotic War. Graduated from the Riga Military School (1941), All‑Union Legal Correspondence‑Education Institute (Moscow, 1955). In 1941, he served in the 10th Rifle Division of the North‑Western Front. Since 1942, one of the guerrilla troops leaders in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. Since August 1944 Сhief of Staff, between October 1944 — May 1945 Member of the Yan Zhizhka’ Communist Guerrilla Brigade in the Czech Republic and Moravia. Since 1948 at the Prosecutor’s Office of the BASSR (in 1962 as Deputy Ministry of Internal Affairs). Between 1969—85 Chairman of the Presidium in the Bashkortostan Bar Council, between 1987—90 Dir. of the Museum of International Friendship in Ufa. Honorable Citizen of 16 cities of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. There is his monument in Zlin, Czech Republic. Documentary films and literary works are devoted to M.
