MURTAZINA, Milyausha Galiyevna (b.27.5.1926 in Derevnya Bakayevo 2nd of Ufimsky Canton of the BASSR, now Selo Bakayevo of Kushnarenkovsky Raion of the RB), Vocal Teacher. Full Professor (1990). Merited Artist of RSFSR (1983) and BASSR (1967), Merited Worker of RSFSR (1973), Excellent Worker of the Higher Education of USSR (1985). Awarded with the 2nd Class Order for Merits to the Fatherland (2012) and with the Order of Salavat Yulayev (2011). After graduating from Kazan Conservatory (1954), she worked at the First Ufa Children’s School and at Ufa School of Arts (with an interval). Between 1969—71 and 1973—2014 — a teacher at USAA. Harmoniously combining the peculiarities of European and Russian vocal pedagogics, M. had a great impact on the development of the vocal school of Bashkortostan. Her students are A.A.Abdrazakov, I.A.Abdrazakov, N.Kh.Allayarova, S.A. Askarov, I.M.Gaziyev, S.K.Galimova, R.A.Gareyev.
