MUSIN, Nuguman Suleymanovich

MUSIN, Nuguman Suleymanovich [b.17.7.1931, Derevnya Kulgunino of Makarovsky Raion of the BASSR (now Ishimbaysky Raion of the RB)]. People’s Writer of the RB (2001) and Merited Cultural Sector Professional of the BASSR (1981). Laureate of the BASSR State Award named after Salavat Yulayev (1991). Awarded with the Order for Merits to the Republic of Bashkortostan (2011), Order of People’s Friendship (2016, 2021), Order of Salavat Yulayev (2007). Member of the Union of Writers of the RB. Graduated from the Sterlitamak Teacher’s Institute (1951), BSU (1966). Worked as a Teacher in his native village, was an employee of the Department of People’s Education of the Makarovsky Raion of the BASSR, the Soviet Bashkortostan newspaper, the Agidel magazine, the Board of the Union of Writers of the BASSR, the Bashknigoizdat publishing house (all – in Ufa). He wrote the dilogy The Eternal Forest (1976–78; there is the same name documentary of 2006; directed by D.B.Arslanova) and the trilogy, which includes the following novels: White Deer on the Blue Mountain, Before the Flood (1985), Go on the Way at Dawn (1988), etc. The creative works of M. were translated into Russian, Tatar, Yakut and other languages.
