NATIONAL ARCHIVE OF THE RB

NATIONAL ARCHIVE OF THE RB, a state institution under the Office for Archives of the RB. Established in 2015 as a result of the merger of the Central Historical Archive (created in 1922) and the Central Archive of Public Associations (1929). The archive includes more than 13 thous. funds (2.6 million units of storage). The basis directions of activity are the following: reception, acquisition, accounting, storage and use of documents, consultations and fulfillment of requests from population, various institutions and organizations, information provision of state authorities and municipalities, etc. Documents of administrative, military, judicial and economic institutions, party and Komsomol organizations, state authorities, organizations and enterprises of national economy, institutions of public education, culture, science, health of the Soviet period, personal archives of Bashkortostan famous people, etc are stored there.
