NATIONAL ORCHESTRA OF FOLK INSTRUMENTS OF THE RB

NATIONAL ORCHESTRA OF FOLK INSTRUMENTS OF THE RB. It was created in 2001 at the Bashkir Philharmonia. The founder, the 1st Dir. and the Artistic Managing Dir. was R.M.Gayzullin, the Merited Artist of the RF and the People’s Artist of the RB. The first concert took place on October 1st, 2001. The works performed by the orchestra are distinguished by the unique sound, combining the timbres of the ancient Bashkir and Russian folk musical instruments, symphony orchestra and uzlyau. The Winner of the Grand Prize of the International Contest Festival Europe–Asia (Magnitogorsk, 2007), festival Zhubanov Spring named after A.Zhubanov (Aktobe, Kazakhstan), All‑Russia Contest named after N.N.Andreyev (Chelyabinsk; both – in 2008); the Laureate of the all‑Russia contest festivals (Kazan, 2006; Moscow, 2007).
