NPO STANKOSTROYENIYE, OOO (Sterlitamak). Manufactures machining centers, milling and boring centers, turning centers with CNC, special machinery, etc. Founded in 1941 in place of the Machine Tool Plant named after V.I.Lenin (founded in 1865), evacuated from Odessa, as Sterlitamak Machine Tool Plant named after V.I.Lenin (in early 40s the manufacture of radial‑drilling and diamond‑boring machines was mastered; in mid‑40s – vertical‑ and radial‑drilling, horizontal diamond‑boring, thread‑cutting, etc machines; in mid‑80s – machining centers), since 1998 Sterlitamak- M.T.E., since 2012 has its current name. Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1943).
