CANCER HOSPITAL, the leading republican clinical specialized Tumor Treatment Centre in Bashkortostan. Founded in 1945 in Ufa. It consists of 2 polyclinics, the inpatient clinic with thoracic, proctological, gastroenterological, mammological, urological, gynecological, urological, gynecological departments, head and neck pathology department, 3 radiological departments, and others. Also includes intrascopy, gross anatomy, clinical‑diagnostic and immunology laboratories, surgery unit with 8 theatres, centre for palliative care, and 25 beds. In 2018, it had 1,035 employees, incl. 200 MDs and 100 healthcare workers.
