PANOV, Aleksandr Konstantinovich (1.5.1940, Grigorievka Khutor of Chkalov Obl. – 28.1.2015, Sterlitamak), Mechanical Engineer. Associate Member of the AS RB (1991), Dr. of Engineering (1988), Full Professor (1990). Merited Scientist of the BASSR (1990). On graduation from the S.M.Kirov Kazan Chemical Technology Institute (1967) worked in Sterlitamak: at the spec. design and engineering bureau of “Avantgarde” plant, since 1975 at the UPI branch, at the same time since 2005 at the Institute of Applied Research of the AS RB. His research activity was dedicated to the development of processes and equipment for chemical technology. P. has created highly efficient designs of process equipment and methods for their calculation and modelling, designs of moulding equipment intended to intensify the polymer extrusion processes implemented at industrial facilities in the RB.
