PETROLEUM PROCESSING. RB is a leading scientific centre for the development of technologies, hardware design and implementation of the most processes of O.r. in the RF and other countries. RB ranks the 6th in oil production in the RF and is the leader in the volume of O.r. and production of light oil products (motor fuels). It processes 12% of the volume of Russian oil, produces 17% of automobile gasoline and 15% of diesel fuel. Oil of Western Siberia (approx. 50%), RB (approx. 40%) and gas condensate (approx. 10%) is used as raw material. Depth of O.r. by PAO ANK Bashneft is 87% (approx. 18 million tons of raw materials; provided in Bashneft–UNPZ by a complex of catalytic cracking G-43-107М/1 and process unit ELOU AVT-6, in Bashneft—Novoil and Bashneft—Ufaneftekhim by delayed coking unit), in OOO Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat – 89.2% (6.5 million tons; ELOU AVT-6).
