PERINATAL CENTRE

PERINATAL CENTRE, the largest republican clinical maternity obstetric institution in the RB providing full set of specialized medical services, including hightech obstetric care for women in childbirth, newborns, pregnant women and women willing to get pregnant. Was formed in 2018 by the merge of the Maternity Hospital No.4 of Ufa (was founded in 1977) and the P.с. (was founded in 2003). Consists of 2 women's consultation clinics, an inpatient clinic with 500 beds, including departments of obstetrics, gynecology, intensive care unit for newborns, of newborn pathology, etc, the departments of ultrasound, beam, functional and magnet resonance diagnostics, clinical diagnostic laboratory. The P.c. has developed and implemented the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring in the RB online system. In the Department of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (was opened in 2006) all the types of assisted reproductive technologies programs are being provided, including in vitro fertiliation (IVF), embryo transfer (ET) and surrogate motherhood. In 2018, it had about 250 MDs and over 500 medical workers employed.
