BLAGOVARSKY  POULTRY  FARM, ООО. The only industrial enterprise in the RF specializing in pedigree duck breeding. Located in Selo Yazykovo of Blagovarsky Raion. Founded in 1977 as Blagovarskaya Poultry Plant, since 1995 B. Poultry Breeding Farm, since 2000 an affiliated company of Bashkir Poultry Industry State Unitary Agricultural Enterprise, since 2004 has its current status. In 1997, the technology of poultry breeding was developed and patented; in 1998, the Blagovarsky two-line cross-breed based on Beijing breed of ducks was developed; in 2001 – Bashkir Coloured ducks breed, in 2009 – Ural White goose breed were developed. The B. consists of parent stock, incubation, fattening, and slaughter houses (all based in 1977); auxiliary workshops for production of biological preparations (1990), bakery (1995), etc; scientific sectors for genetics and breeding research, computer technology and software, feeding research (all – 1995), etc. The land area is 9,589 ha incl. agricultural lands – 9233 ha. The duck headcount amounted to 105 thous., laying capacity – 259 eggs per year, duckling yield – 79%, young birds survival – 93%, production of eggs – 7.3   million pcs., that of meat – 260 t.
