GOVERNMENT OF THE RB

GOVERNMENT OF THE RB,  the supreme body of executive authority of the Republic. Head of the  RB  forms the G. of the RB, which includes the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, Ministers, Chairmen of the state committees and Heads of departments, other state bodies and organizations of the RB; coordinates activities of the G. and takes decisions for its members resignation. The G. of the RB supervises the activities of the Ministers, State Committees and other bodies of the executive authority of the RB; develops and ensures the implementation of the draft budgets  as  well  as  social  and  economic development programs, submitted by Head of the RB to the State Assembly—Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It participates in the implementation of a unified fiscal policy in the fields of financial system, culture, science, education, health care, etc. Founded in 1920 as Council of People’s Commissars  of  the  ASBR,  in  1946  was transformed into Council of Ministers of the BASSR, in 1990 – of the BSSR, in 1992 – of the RB, in 1993 – into Cabinet of Ministers of the RB, in 2002 – G. of the RB.
