ANTITUBERCULOSIS HOSPITAL

ANTITUBERCULOSIS HOSPITAL,  the leading republican centre for prevention and treatment of tuberculosis. Located in Ufa. It was founded in 1921. It consist of 8 branches located in Belortsk, Birsk, Ishimbay, Kumertau, Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, Salavat, Priyutovo and 3 subbranches in Ufa, an in-patient clinic, 5 follow-up departments (including 2 children and 1 consultative department), diagnostic service, etc. The inpatient clinic consists of 11 departments, out of which 6 are adult pulmonary departments, 1 department of extrapulmonary tuberculosis, 1 children's department, 3 surgical departments. It has over 1,400 employees, including over 220 MDs and about 600 medical workers.
