PUTIN, Vladimir Vladimirovich (b.7.10. 1952 in Leningrad), Statesman and President of the RF. Candidate of Economic Sciences (1997). Graduated from the LSU (1975). Since 1996, Deputy Head of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the RF. Since 1997, Deputy Head of the Administration of President of the RF – Head of the Main Control Administration of the President of the RF. In 1998, 1st Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the RF. Since July 1998, Dir. of the Federal Security Service of the RF. Since March 1999, Secretary of the Security Council of the RF. Since August 1999, Head of the Government of the RF. Since December 1999, Acting President of the RF. Between 2000–08 and since 2012, President of the RF. Between 2008—12, Head of the Government of the RF. Chairman of the United Russia Political Party between 2008 — 12. During the official visits to the RB on March 22, 2000, visited UMPO; on June 10th, 2001, — the church of the Holy Mandylion of Edessa in Selo Alekseevka of Ufimsky Raion and the Lyalya-Tulpan mosque; on January 4th, 2003 — USPTU and Gostiny Dvor shopping centre; on July 8th, 2002, — graves of victims of a plane crash in Germany at the Yuzhnoye (Southern) Cemetery in Ufa. On October 11th, 2007, attended the celebration of the 450th anniversary of Accession of Bashkortostan to Russia, presided over the visiting session of the State Council of the Russian Federation in Ufa. On February 8th, 2010, presided over the meeting of the Government Commission on Regional Development, dedicated to information technologies development in the constituent entities of the RF. On July 9—10th, 2015, participated in the SCO and BRICS summits. On January 24th, 2018, was introduced to the products of UMPO, presided over the meeting dedicated to diversification of the military and industrial complex, and held meetings with R.Z.Khamitov, Head of the RB, T.S.Tajuddin, Chairman of the Central Muslim Spiritual Board, and visited the First Grand Mosque.
