PSHENICHNYUK, Anatoly Kharitonovich
PSHENICHNYUK, Anatoly Kharitonovich (2.1.1936, Poselok Letenka of Buzovyazovsky Raion of the BASSR — 5.1.2016, Ufa), Archaeologist. Candidate of Historical Sciences (1968). Merited Employee of Culture of the RB (2006). After graduating from the BSU (1959) and until 2014 he worked at the Institute of History, Language and Literature (Head of Department in 1978—2006). Carried out scientific research about early Iron Age in the South Urals, and the Kara-Abyss, Savromat, and Sarmatian cultures. Found and explored a number of archaeological sites, incl. the Almukhametovsky, Bekeshevsky, Filippovsky burial mounds, and Okhlebininsky and Shipovsky archaeological sites.
