RASULEV, Zainulla Kh., Zaynulla bin Khabibulla bin Rasul [20.3. (according to other data, 25.3.) 1833, Derevnya Sharipovo of Troitsky Uyezd of Orenb. Gub. (now Uchalinsky Raion of the RB) — 2.2.1917, Troitsk] was a public and religious leader, Sufism worshipper, ishan and educator. Member of the Nakshbandiya fraternity. One of the Jadidism leaders. After graduation from the Mukhammadiya madrasa (Troitsk, 1858) became the imam‑khatib of the mosque and mudarris in the madrasa in Derevnya Akkuzhino of Verkhneuralsky Uyezd of Orenb. Gub. (now Derevnya Yuldashevo of Uchalinsky Raion). Since 1884, the imam‑khatib of the 5th grand mosque of Troitsk, mudarris and teacher at the Rasuliya madrasa, the founder of which he was. Between 1873— 81, he was in exile. He promoted education and maktabs and madrasas reform. Repeatedly travelled for Hadj. Had deep knowledge of the Muslim theology, Shariat and Tibetan medicine. Received recognition as an aulya. He was acquainted with Akmulla.
