ROSHCHINSKY

ROSHCHINSKY, GUSP, state collective farm. A largest agricultural industry corporation in the RB. It was founded in 1979 as Spartak pig farm under the Bashkir Pig Industry Multicorporate Enterprise; since 1980 R. State Collective Farm; since 1995 R. State Agricultural Enterprise; since 1997 an affiliate company of GUSP Bashhkhleboptitzeprom; since 2000 has its current status. Located in Sterlitamaksky Raion, the central farm is in Selo Roshchinsky. It consists of: a pig breeding farm (Durok, Yorkshire, large white breed), fattening unit, 9 dairy farms, meat processing unit, grain processing unit and storage, horse breeding units, a greenhouse unit, etc. Has a chain of branded shops, a bakery, a recreation center, etc. The agricultural land area amounted to 37,500 ha incl. 29,500 ha of arable lands (2017). Yield of grain crops — 25.4 t/ha, produced grain — 49,600 t. The number of pigs — 51,600, cattle — 5,770 (incl. cows — 1,700), horses — 350; average annual milk yield per cow — 6,052 kg, average daily gain of young pigs — 683 g, cattle — 697 g; produced (t): milk — 5,423, meat — 7,761.

R. products were awarded with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals and diplomas at international and Russian agricultural industry exhibitions in Moscow, Ufa (2004—08). R. is the Winner of the 1000 Best Enterprises of Russia competition (2006, 2007); R. products were awarded with gold medals at various exhibitions: AgroFarm 2007, Golden Autumn (2008; all — in Moscow).
