SABAKAY, caves in the Sabakay rock, a natural monument (1965). Located on the SE edge of the Ufa Plateau on the right bank of the Yuryuzan River 3 km SE of Selo Ezhovka of Duvansky Raion. It is a sheer two‑step cliff of approx. 70 m high, where the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sabakay caves are located. Landscapes are represented by steppe pine‑birch and birch forests. The following plants, included in The Red List of the RB, grow here: Cypripedium calceolus, Epipactis atrorubens, Epipactis atrorubens, Cephalanthera rubra, etc. Peregrine falcon nestles here. Neolithic household items and animal bones were found in one of the caves.
