GARDEN NAMED AFTER SALAVAT YULAYEV. Created in 1900 in Ufa (22 Salavat St, area 2.83 ha) as a garden at the Sluchevskaya Mountain. In the late 1920s it was named after Salavat, and in 1969, it was named after N.K.Krupskaya, and it has had its present title since 2004. Originally, on the territory of the garden pavilions were built overlooking the Belaya River, as well as a library, a reading room, a summer stage, a volleyball court; a carousel and a “Ferris wheel” were installed. In 1952, a bronze bust of Salavat Yulayev (by sculptor T.P. Nechaeva was set up, but dismantled in 1969). In 1956, a cable‑stayed bridge was built. In the garden there is the tomb of R.Nigmati, three gazebos were built, and children game complexes were installed. On the top platform closer to the entrance there is a three‑tier fountain in the form of a stone flower, decorated in the same style as other architectural structures in the garden. In the center of the garden there is another fountain in the form of two rings with hearts inside each. It is considered to be a landscape monument and town planning monument.
