SAITBATTALOV, Galei Galeyevich (17.12. 1928, Derevnya Seitkulovo of the Zilairsky Сanton of the BASSR, now Selo Saitkulovo of Kugarchinsky Raion of the RB, — 31.7. 2010, Ufa, buried in his homeland), a linguist. Associate Member of the Academy of Sciences of the RB (1991), Doctor of Letters (1969), Full Professor (1971). Merited Master of Sciences of the BASSR (1988). Graduated from the Bashkir State Pedagogical Institute named after K.A.Timiryazev (1950). In 1953, he worked at the BSU. His scientific research was devoted to the syntax, stylistics, and punctuation of the Bashkir language.
