SAKMARA

SAKMARA (in translation from Bashkir — go carefully, oozing, guard house, guardroom), a river, a right tributary of the Ural River. Length — 760 km, basin area — 30,400 km2. The length of S. in the territory of the RB is 348 km. The river basin is located on the Zilair Plateau; karst is partially developed. Landscapes are represented by birch and pine forests with admixture of larch.
