SALAVATSTEKLO, AO. Produces glass: high‑grade sheet glass, low‑emission, sunscreen, multifunctional, laminated construction purpose glass, laminated safety glass for land transport, protective laminated bulletproof glass, safety tempered glass; glass windows, glass bottles of various configuration for liquid foodstuff, soluble sodium silicate, liquid sodium glass. It was put into operation in 1962 as Salavat Technical Glass Plant (in 1963 the production of glass tiles was mastered, in 1967 – aquariums, in 1970 – mirror products); since 1973 S. (in 1974 the production of tableware began, in 1975 – thermoses, in 1978 – crystal products). In 2010,itmergedwith OAOSaratovstroysteklo.
