SATYRTAU

SATYRTAU (in translation from Bashkir — “satyr” means “tent” and “tau” means “mountain”), a residual mountain, a natural monument (2005). It is located 1.5 km N of Selo Kipchak‑Askarovo of Alsheevsky Raion. Abs. alt. — 266 m. The top is flat, the slopes are steep. Astragalus helmii, Stipa pulcherrima, Linaria debilis, Medicago cancellata, Oxytropis hippolyti, etc, included in The Red List of the RB, grow there.
