SELIVYORSTOV, Alexey Nikolayevich (b.24.7.1976 in Ufa), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (bobsleigh) of Russia (2003). Distinguished Athlete of the RB (2005). Awarded with the Order of Friendship (2007), Order of Peoples’ Friendship (2006). A trainee of the Specialist Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve No.15 (Coach – A.G.Ageyev), the Sports Skills Development School of the RB (R.Sh.Faizov). Silver Medalist of the Olympic Games (2006). Winner of the World Cups in the overall ratings (2005–06), European Champion (2005), the Silver (2005) and Bronze (2003) World Championship Medalist, Silver Medalist of the World Cups in the overall ratings (2004, 2008), Bronze Medalist of the European Championship (2006). The World Champion (2004) in bobsleigh starts. Silver and Bronze Medalist of the World Championship (2001) among juniors. Participant of the Olympic Games (1998, 2002). Member of the Russian National Team (1996–2009).
