SEMAK, Alexander Vladimirovich

SEMAK, Alexander Vladimirovich (b.11.2. 1966 in Ufa), Athlete. Merited Sports Master of the USSR (1990), Merited Ice Hockey Coach of Russia (2015). Awarded with the Order of Peoples’ Friendship (2016). A trainee of the Salavat Yulayev Specialist Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve (Coaches: V.I.Vorobyov, A.N.Yemelin). He played in Salavat Yulayev (1982–86, 2000–02), Dynamo (Moscow, 1986–92, 2002–03), Severstal (Cherepovets, 2003–04), the MIA team (Tver, 2004–05), and the National Hockey League clubs (USA, Canada, 1992–97) and Germany (1999–2000). The World Champion (1990), European Champion (1987, 1991), the World Student Games Champion (1987), Winner of the International Hockey Federation (1994), Silver (1987) and Bronze (1991) Medalist of the World Championships. The World Champion (1984, 1986) among youth and Europe Champion (1984) among juniors. Member of the USSR National Team (1987–91). Deputy of the 5th Session of State Assembly – Kurultay of the RB.
