SIM

SIM (in translation from Bashkir — deep place in the river, whirlpool), a river, a right tributary of the Belaya River. Length — 239 km, basin area — 11,700 km2. The length in the territory of the RB is approx. 120 km. The basin relief in the upper reaches is represented by medium‑altitude mountains, in the lower reaches it is of the plain type; karst is developed (drylands, caves, incl. Kueshta, etc). Landscapes are represented by broadleaf forests, meadow steppes are in evidence.
