SINTEZ–KAUCHUK
SINTEZ–KAUCHUK, OAO (Sterlitamak). Produces synthetic rubbers, triisobutylaluminium, catalysts, absorbents, hexane, hyperylene, isopentane cuts, liquid waste hydrocarbons, etc. In 1961 the 1st phase of Sterlitamak Synthetic Rubber Plant was commissioned, since 1991 renamed to ZAO Kauchuk, since 2004 has its current name. Since 2011, the company has been managed by OAO TAU NefteKhim Management Company. In 1967 the production of catalysts of KNF brand was mastered, in 1969 – the production of isoprene, in 1970 the first briquette of polyisoprene rubber of SKI‑3 brand was obtained. The technology of the production of cis‑1.4‑polyisoprene of SKI‑5 and SKI‑5PM brands with utilization of neodymium catalyst was mastered by the company for the first time in the industry, as well as special rubber (epichlorohydrin and propylene oxide rubbers), antioxidant of phenolamine type AFA‑1. Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1971).
