CURRANT

Nectariferous plants, decorative plants, food plants. They contain vitamins, flavonoids, essential oils, etc, and are used in medicine. Black C., red C. and golden C. are common in the RB. The plant is early‑maturing, winter‑resistant. Varieties of black C. (Bobrovaya, Valovaya, Karaidel, etc), golden C. (Venera, Zarina, Lyaysan, Shafak, etc), bred by the selection breeders of the Republic, as well as varieties of red C. (Natali, Ogni Urala, etc) are allowed for use in the RB.
