RUSSIANS ASSEMBLY OF BASHKORTOSTAN

RUSSIANS ASSEMBLY OF BASHKORTOSTAN, a republican public organization established in order to preserve the spiritual culture and language, unity and patriotism of the Russian people in the RB. Located in Ufa. Founded in 1998, it now has both city and raion executive committees. The main directions of activity are the study of historical and cultural heritage of the Russians, revival of folk crafts, rituals and traditions. Actively participates in the Aksakov International Festival (Ufa, Belebey, Selo Zubovo of Ufimsky Raion, Selo Nadyezhdino of Belebeyevsky Raion), Interregional Festival of Russian Songs and Chastushki (Selo Yemashi of Belokataysky Raion), Day of Slavic Writing and Culture (Ufa, Selo Nikolo‑Byeryozovka of Krasnokamsky Raion), Maslyenitsa Festival (Selo Krasny Yar of Ufimsky Raion), Kreshchenskiye Morozy (Christmas Frosts) Regional Festival of Popular Music and Dance, and Sviridov Days (Birsk); events dedicated to S.T. Aksakov, M.K.Lyubavsky, M.V.Nesterov, V.V.Timanova, F.I.Shalyapin, etc.
